Navigating the American Carbon World 2017

Navigating the American Carbon World (NACW) is North America’s largest and most comprehensive gathering for information and discussion around climate change policy and carbon markets. The conference offers up-to-date information and insights, prime networking opportunities with active participants in the carbon landscape, and the largest audience reach of any carbon market and climate policy event in North America.

In its 15th year, NACW 2017 will offer four main conference session paths focusing on: markets and finance, subnational leadership, innovative climate initiatives, and technical workshops. Session topics will include the status and forecast of the North American carbon market; California’s strategies and investments to reduce emissions 40 percent below 1990 levels by 2030; policy ideas feasible in the new U.S. administration; leveraging public and private investments for climate finance; and the implementation the Paris Agreement and other international agreements.
