Moving Toward the New-Energy Economy: The Role of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) in Promoting Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency

Please join the Business Council for Sustainable Energy for an issue forum to discuss the role of RGGI in promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency. The day's program will include an overview of New York's RGGI rule, including regulations related to the investment of New York's RGGI auction proceeds. In addition, the program will include a panel of market experts to discuss current market trends for clean energy deployment and new generation, as well as experts engaged in national level research on opportunities for job growth in the new energy economy. Discussion will include ideas on model public-private partnerships from experts in the follow market sectors: energy efficiency services, renewable power, sustainable bio-energy, advanced trasnportation technology, distributed generation and supply-side efficiency, and utilitiy programs.
