International Climate Change Policy

The Council's international policy work focuses on the promotion of clean energy technologies as solutions to global climate change, local air quality and energy access and infrastructure challenges.  Through this work, the Council is prominent industry voice under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), where negotiations are underway to adopt a post-2012 multilateral framework to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
