The Council values a dialogue with environmental stakeholders on energy and climate change policy. The Council has created a venue through its Environmental Advisory Committee for its members to discuss important domestic and international policies with key representatives of the environmental community. The Council believes that understanding the environmental community's perspective is critical to understanding energy and environmental policy in the broader political picture.

 

The Council works with environmental organizations, including:

• Union of Concerned Scientists
• Natural Resources Defense Council
• Energy and Environmental Studies Institute
• World Resources Institute (WRI)
