The Council offers practical industry expertise to policymakers to guide them in making climate change and energy policy decisions that result in accelerated clean energy deployment.

 

The BCSE is a member-driven association that accomplishes its policy work and outreach through the following task forces:

• Climate Change Task Force - Federal & International Policy
• State & Regional Initiatives Task Force

 

These task forces meet regularly to discuss current issues and formulate policy recommendations to the BCSE Board of Directors.

 

As part of its continuing outreach efforts, the Council hosts regular briefings on clean energy and climate change issues for Congress; conducts state and regional forums for discussion on clean energy issues; and presents an annual conference each Fall for members and the general public.
