BCSE Welcomes Jonathan Lee, 2016 Jan Schori Summer Fellow
Washington, DC — The Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE) proudly welcomes Jonathan Lee as the 2016 Jan Schori Summer Fellow. This Fellowship was established in 2008 in honor of Ms. Schori, former BCSE Board Chair and general manager and chief executive officer of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD).
Mr. Lee comes to the Council from The Pennsylvania State University, where he is completing his first year of a Master’s degree in International Affairs. His academic work is focused on water and sustainable development, international economics, diplomacy and international relations theory, as well as global cultures and leadership.
Through his first year of post-graduate studies, Mr. Lee worked on multiple political campaigns both in the United States and in the United Kingdom. After graduating from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts in both International Studies and Political Science, Mr. Lee worked for Morgan Stanley as a communication specialist.
Mr. Lee will be working with BCSE staff on the Council’s international and federal policy programs.
